wbm January 2011
on the cover
To start the New Year off with a
healthy step forward, we focused
our first issue of 2011 on getting
our lives in balance. Our cover
challenge was to represent that in
a single photograph while staying
true to our WB roots. We had ideas
aplenty, but none of them worked
the way we wanted them to. And
then we remembered Jennifer Raine
Kostel, a Yoga Alliance Certified RYT®
200 and Level II Reiki Practitioner,
professional dancer, choreographer
and aspiring surfer. Tree posing
on the south end of Wrightsville
on December 12, a cold and windy
Sunday, WBM director of photogra-phy
Allison Breiner Potter, using a
Nikon D300 with an 18-70mm lens,
captured Jenn in a life-positive posi-tion
that said everything we had
hoped for about being healthy. Have
a happy and healthy New Year. —RL
