museum’s operating expenses.

The Coastal Classic Celebrity
Golf Tournament held May 4-5
at the Country Club of Landfall’s
Pete Dye Course attracted more
than 350 people and raised nearly
$60,000 at the silent auction Friday
night. The tournament has successfully
donated $2.2 million during its
20-year existence. This year’s proceeds
will be donated to the New
Hanover Regional Medical Center’s
Heart Center to purchase new
equipment for heart surgery.
