SURFERS HEALING GALA
On August 19, Port Land Grille held the inaugural Surf Gala 2012. More than 80
guests attended the event that raised more than $18,500. All proceeds benefited Surfers
Healing — a foundation for Autism that provides surf lessons for autistic children. Special
guest and Surfers Healing founder, Izzy Paskowitz, signed copies of his recently released
book, “Scratching the Horizon, A Surfing Life.”
