SPORTS HALL OF FAME
On Sunday, May 5, the Greater Wilmington
Sports Hall of Fame held its annual induction
banquet at the Burney Center on the campus of
the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
This year’s inductees included Wilmington’s own
Kenny Gattison, Maggie Will, Martin Sasser and
Thell Overman. The induction ceremony was
prefaced by a reception and silent auction to
benefit the organization.
