standard of publications. I knew then, and still believe
strongly, that capturing the local audience does promote
both image and sales. After I retired from real estate, it
seemed that hard copy print was being replaced with
online efforts, and honestly, I did not agree. The ability to
pick up a beautiful publication, share it with friends and
family, still seems to me a more tangible way to do business
and share a personal experience.
I appreciate WBM now more than ever. I look forward
to the first of the month so that I can peruse the copy,
dog-ear the pages of the exceptional photos and stories,
and share with others. My almost 90-year-old mother
doesn’t own a computer, and for me to bring a copy of
WBM to her makes her smile and entertains her for hours.
Isn’t that what it is all about? Thank you Pat for 12 great
years. Here’s to 12 more.

I have been so pleased with the results that
I get from advertising in Wrightsville Beach
Magazine. I consistently get customers
coming into the store carrying the magazine
or a page torn from it looking for an item
we have advertised. The customer service
is excellent and the quality of the ads
represents our store well.

Wrightsville Beach thrives on its small-town charm, beautiful views and history that
has molded each building and person anchored to it. With outstanding photography
by Joshua Curry and Allison Potter and soulful stories by Marimar McNaughton, the
history of our small beach town is kept alive within the pages of Wrightsville Beach
Magazine. All the while new faces and businesses are embraced as the town evolves
with each tide. The Blockade Runner Beach Resort is built on tradition. It is built
upon its people and it is built upon its stories. As we near our 50th anniversary, we
take pride in the stories WBM shares with its visitors and with its own small town
family. Wrightsville Beach Magazine, like the island itself, is one of a kind. We’re
excited to be a part of that! Thank you for all of your support!
To many, many more,
Jenny Yarborough,
Marketing Manager

Congratulations on 12 years of providing a top-notch magazine
about the happenings — past and present — in and around our
community. Wrightsville Beach Magazine continues to produce a
very attractive and valuable publication (from a reader’s perspective
and an advertiser’s perspective). Even though Intracoastal
Realty’s marketing has evolved over the years with more of a focus
on technology, we still value the magazine as a tangible vehicle to
deliver our brand message. We are honored to be one of your first
advertisers in 2000, and we look forward to sharing many more
years of success with you.
