Recruited by a friend to
be his wingman and
ask Lauren for a date,
Jeremy ended up being the
one to capture her heart.
The couple dated for five
years before Jeremy proposed
in September 2010. With
a one-of-a-kind engagement
ring which features his
thumbprint on the inside
of a silver band he surprised
Lauren with a painting
hanging on a tree in their
backyard asking her the
question she waited so long
to hear.
On their wedding day
at Brunswick Town in
Winnabow, North Carolina,
on March 14, 2011, Jeremy’s
favorite memory was seeing
Lauren turn the corner as the
sun came out, illuminating
her at the perfect moment.
Wed by a mutual friend,
even their dogs were included
in the ceremony, adding to
the uniqueness of their special
day.
“We had so much support
from not only our family but
our friends,” Jeremy says.
“Everyone contributed a lot
throughout the entire process
and invested so much
into this wedding. That
made the actual day so much
more special and rewarding
for everyone there.”
Jeremy works as a graphic
designer at A & M Screen
Printing and Lauren as
an event planner at Your
Conference Connection.
The newlyweds intend to
take a break from work in
the fall for their honeymoon.
