A double kitchen shared by two families floats beneath
an open beamed ceiling. The tabby covered hood, created
on site by Dale Haynes, is mated with a matching fireplace
chimney on the opposite great room wall. The lavish
soapstone counter is mirrored in the finish of a slate
hearth, also in the great room.
