Under one roof

Soft light cascades from the roof through two dormers, sending sunbeams spilling
into a serene seaside interior. Overlapping layers of crème, taupe and pearl gray,
the palette of tumbled sea shells, trimmed in frothy white and pale teal accents,
create a cool driftwood interior envelope for two young families from western
North Carolina who share a Figure Eight Island beach retreat.
