Catalina’s slogan was, “Styled for the Stars of Hollywood.” They founded the
Miss Universe pageant in 1952 and featured actress Piper Laurie to promote
it in this ad that same year. She is modeling one of their suits with the flying
fish logo and the ermine robe, scepter and crown of the future beauty queen.
