GOODRICH designed the master
bedroom suite to look straight
out the windows to water.
During the length of the
design project that began in December
2018 and wrapped Labor Day weekend
2019, Mazer squired her client around the
High Point Furniture Market. She laughs,
saying she spent a week there, and her home-owner
spent three hours.
“I wanted him to sit on some things at the
market. He noticed the brands he liked the
best. Most pieces are made in North Caro-lina,
almost 90 percent,” she says.
The third-floor master suite includes a
glass-encased shower and soak tub with
waterfront views, left. The bedchamber,
top right, boasts a custom headboard. The
strategic placement of mirrors expands the
room’s volume. The vanity hand sink and
wall treatment flip the otherwise all-white
palette in the bathroom.
