identical to the pantry door
and other cabinets. White
quartz countertops and
white upper cabinets bal-ance
of the oak cabinetry. The
oak floors in the kitchen
and throughout the house
received a lighter finish,
reflecting the appearance of
beach sand.
Two tall windows on the
southeast corner fill the
breakfast nook with light
and create a connection
with the neighborhood,
giving one the chance to
wave at cyclists on Lumina
Avenue while enjoying
morning coffee. The blue
banquette and white swivel
chairs on the breakfast
nook were both custom
built by Lester.
Dark rift-grain oak contrasts
with sleek white countertops
in Heron Watch’s modern
kitchen. Early risers can enjoy
sunrise over the ocean from
the breakfast nook.

Kersting spent

on the kitchen design

cabinetry and all the built
ins throughout the house.

and simple aesthetic, Lisa
