With a car full of props and photography
gear, I arrived at Wrightsville
Beach Park at 7:30 a.m. on Friday,
April 20. The clouds refused to
budge so I made a second attempt
at lunchtime. The sun finally made an
appearance and provided some dappled
light through the branches of
the live oaks along Causeway Drive.
Thanks to the Town of Wrightsville
Beach for permission to stage a
cover scene here and to Outer Banks
Hammocks, Salt Shaker and Crabby
Chic for props. —Allison Potter
