Correction
Thanks for listing my son, Connor Barth, as Notable
Names in Wilmington in your recent issue of Wrightsville
Beach Magazine (“Notable Names,” October WBM).
Connor lives on Wrightsville Beach and is very involved
with helping quietly fundraise for many of the businesses
on the island during COVID. I wanted to let you know
that you have him listed as an NFL punter, which is incor-rect.
Connor was a placekicker in the NFL for 10 years.

Constructive Critique
Amanda Lisk wrote an excellent, well-researched article,
“Bringing New Light to an
Old Soul” (September WBM).
The impressive number
of people she interviewed
is only superseded by her
excellent writing style. This
is no fluff piece. The details
in the article tell me that
the editors are interested in
good stories rather than brief
essays to place between ads.
Congratulations on a well writ-ten
and edited article.
