Sailors in the International Sunfish Class Association World Championship off
Wrightsville Beach contend with rough seas on Oct. 9, 2018. The competition,
hosted by the Carolina Yacht Club, was held Oct. 6-12. Conditions were difficult most
of the week, and there was no racing on the 11th because of Tropical Storm Michael.
Jean Paul de Trazegnies of Peru finished first in the six-race championship.
