RAVELING room
by room, the design
duo slowly but
surely wended its
way into the formal
dining room.
The dining room palette
was minted on the golden
Nepalese tapestry, one of
Joanna’s finds. Jo resourced
the crushed velvet and metal-lic
fabric that upholsters the
backs of the host and host-ess
chairs at the heads of the
table. Describing the couple as
very funny, very witty, with a
great sense of humor, Jo found
Joanna and Nick entertain
many friends during dinner
parties.
Lee Jofa’s “Bohemian Romance”
crushed velvet and silk
embroidered textiles cover
the backs of host and hostess
chairs around the dining table
staged for a dinner party
with votive candles around
a centerpiece from Paysage
Home, and a harmony bowl.
Wall platters were found in
a Moscow market.
