The Cape Fear Heart Walk, sponsored
by local businesses, will take place
on the University of North Carolina
Wilmington athletic fields, in loving
memory of Windell Daniels and others
who have lost their lives to heart
disease. This year, more than 1,800
walkers are expected to join 2013 chair
Davis Parks of NHRMC’s Heart Center,
Wells Fargo Bank and Wilmington
Market president, in the fight against
strokes and heart-related diseases.
