The board and batten finish was an added nuance reminiscent of old- school summer cottages selected to reiterate the home’s exterior board and batten siding. The rustic driftwood finish on the bedframe and the addition of chrome utility reading lamps, top, lapstrake wainscoting and navigational chart wall on the second floor landing gallery, left, and the mahogany wood cabinets and shelving in the master bath, far left, further extend the boathouse vernacular.
