letters to the editor Braddock Babes The article about my Mom, Polly McIlvoy, and her sisters (“Wrightsville at the Root,” by Jamie Penn, September 2014) captured their close family bond and sweet memories of WB. My dad is kind of overwhelmed! (In a good way). Hewlett’s Creek Legacy As the month is coming to a close, I told Rob our fame is also coming to a close!!!! We have been overwhelmed by the response we have received — notes, emails, calls and face-to-face praises! Thank you for the wonderful article (“On the Banks of Hewlett’s Creek,” by Lou Anne Liverman, July 2014) and photos. You have made a memory for our grandchildren and us!!!
